Sam Agrawal, Managing Director: As an engineer and business major in college, Sam’s career taught him various aspects of design, manufacturing, quality, people management and personal accountability. He is a strong advocate of the team approach, and believes that colleagues, customers and suppliers should all enjoy the best possible interactions when collaborating on projects. Always having wanted to run a small business, Sam guides all aspects of the Arizona Ice Art operation with the support of his team.
Tom Gerlak, Principal Designer and Ice Artist: Tom is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He has had a long career in the food service industry as an Executive Chef at hotels in New Orleans and Tucson and was a Certified Hospitality Instructor at Pima Community College. He decided to follow his artist’s passion for ice carving and founded Ice T Ice Art in 1998.
Pat Caffrey, Ice Artist: In addition to his background as a Dining Services Director, Executive Chef and Hospitality professional, Pat has been an Ice Artist for 30 years. He considers it the COOLEST job in Tucson! Pat loves sharing his talent and knowledge with others, turning water into WOW and crafting ice into NICE.
